There is nothing better than spending a casual day alongside an open body of water. Tateyama is a coastal town located on the Boso Peninsula. Mr. Cakes and I took a short bus trip down to check out the scene.
Over the course of the day we stopped at several locations. You can see below how sunny and picturesque Tateyama turned out to be!
A snap of a snapper. Mr. Cakes prepares to ‘capture’ the sea air!
The coast is lined with all sorts of rock formations. It was great fun to venture out on the rocks and find all sorts of shells, plants, and animal life.
By the end of the day we were extremely pleased with our bus tour. It goes without saying that we would have happily spent another day, or 3 in the area. However city/ work life was calling, so it was back to TK-Town. Another wonderful day trip AND another city to look forward to going back to visit.
